Point to Point’s in-house horticultural director provides specialized support to our network of dedicated growers. Under expert supervision, on-farm productivity can be maximized, and a higher quality harvest ensured. Well-managed crops are vital to Point to Point’s continued success, therefore crop protection and hygiene are always a primary concern.
Point to Point’s fruits and vegetables are packed into large bins on the orchards and transported to the Point to Point factory in Alberton South. The produce is then put into special rooms where it is kept at just the right temperature to keep it fresh, crisp and juicy. It is here that our produce lays waiting to be cleaned, graded and packed daily into cartons ready for market.
The final products are boxed, palletized and stored until the point that they are prepared to be dispatched by means of road freight around the country. Our tracking and storage software gives full traceability of all dispatched goods.
